I figured the first post on this blog should be me telling you about myself, and what I plan on this blog being about. First off about me: my name is Sabrina (Bean or Beena is what most call me), I'm 22 and freshly graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy (it seemed like a good idea at the time.) I live in the western part of West Virginia; however, I am originally from southwestern Pennsylvania (I still consider this my home) and am proud of where I come from. Despite attending WVU, I am a die-hard Penn State fan (I have been since I was little, and were it not for price, I would have attended there rather than WVU.) I'm in the course of trying to find myself, and what I would like to do for the rest of my life.
I am a comic book reading, video game playing, Star Trek watching nerd, and am proud of this fact. I am a Trekkie (hence the name of the blog.) I've seen all the series and all the movies, read some of the Next Gen novels, and collect memorabilia.
I love TV, I watch many different shows, and many different genres (Star Trek: The Next Generation, The X-Files, and NCIS being my top 3.)
I also love movies, Titanic is my favorite (insert "room for two" joke here.)
I love books, The Poisonwood Bible and The Road being my favorites, (but i also love crime and legal thrillers.)
I love video games Zelda being my favorite (I've been raised on Nintendo, still have every North American home console release from them.)
I love music, I listen to a bit of everything.
I am also a master of useless trivia, stuff you will never need to know, but I find it fun to know about.
This blog will be some about me, and some about my favorite things (reviews, opinions, information) and life hacks that I find helpful especially for people like me. I will also be including a random fact with each post.
